We began a new prize on November 15. We started by putting $10.00 in a pot and whenever someone bingos on a double number, i.e. 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, or 66 they will win the amount in the pot. We add $5.00 each week no one wins. When the pot is won, we start the next week again with $10.00. If more than one person wins, they split the money.

We are always looking for volunteers and players, so come on over and see what this Bingo game is all about.

By the time you read this we will have been playing BINGO for a month. We started the Tuesday after Labor Day and had a pretty good crowd for the first week.

May 2010

You should give yourself a night out and come see what is happening at the Bingo Parlor. We don’t play with corn or hard cards, but with daubers and paper. We tell jokes, have door prizes, have a 50/50 that pays 25/75. The 75% goes back to the players in two drawings. We are now playing two ’FAST’ Quickies a month, the second and fourth Tuesday. On the second Tuesday, Bobbi will be calling and on the fourth Tuesday, George will be calling. Beginning on the first Tuesday of March your buy-in will include the “hot ball”. If you bingo on the hot ball, in addition to the game winnings, you will receive an additional $250.00. By the way, the hot ball was won the first week of February and by the time you read this, it could have been won again.
Our turn out has been increasing each week. Our games are paying approximately $70.00 with our two specials paying $140.00. Our Slow Quickie pays approximately $150.00. Our intermission special, the double action usually pays $250.00. So, you see, this could be better than sitting home watching TV. The games are over by approximately 9:30 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering to assist with Bingo you must live in the Park and be willing to be at the clubhouse by 5:00 p.m. and stay to clean up afterward. We are out of the clubhouse by 10:00 p.m.
We are a non profit organization, the money you pay to play goes back to you in winnings. We do accept donations from our winners that we present to the COPS program here in the park, the Animal Samaritans, and Martha’s Kitchen. We present them with two checks a year. Also, if you have extra blankets, spreads, pillows or shredded paper, you can bring them with you and we see that they are delivered to the Riverside Co. Animal shelter or the Animal Samaritans.
