Our March Luau was enjoyed by all who were present. Thank you to all who attended and those ladies who helped to make it a success!!!

Ladies, please come to our APRIL 11TH LUNCHEON which will be a POTLUCK. If you bring a dish, your lunch is complimentary, YES, FREE; if not, the cost is only $7.00, what a deal. The JOCELYN SINGERS will entertain us. To buy your tickets in advance to help us have a more accurate count, come to the Clubhouse on Thursday, April 7th, between 10:00 a.m. and Noon. We will also be distributing our Seasonal Donations to the representatives present from all our charities.

As we have been campaigning through the Season, NEW LEADERSHIP IS DESPERATELY NEEDED on our Board and Committees. Please put your ―thinking‖ caps on and have some nominees to announce. Remember, Ladies, this may be our LAST TRI PALMS WOMEN‘S CLUB LUNCHEON/MEETING. Please step forward and help us keep the funds going out to our charities.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE LADIES who helped make our Annual Fashion Show a wonderful success!!!!

On March 10th be sure to buy your tickets at the Clubhouse for the March 14th luncheon with our theme centered around a HAWAIIAN LUAU with dancers to show us how to do the hula. At our luncheon, we will also be visited by the Canine volunteer group to explain the purpose of their work to us.

There will be an opportunity for all present to nominate a friend or yourselves for an office on the Board or a specific committee next year, so we may continue to serve the community with our charitable Women‘s Club. BE THINKING OF YOUR NOMINEES FOR IT IS UP TO YOU, LADIES!!

PLEASE COME AND TAKE PART IN BOTH THE HAWAIIAN FESTIVAL AND THE SIGNING UP TO ASSIST WITH YOUR CLUB.

FASHION SHOW! FASHION SHOW! Join us on VALENTINES DAY, February 14th for lots of fun, a luncheon and our ―FASHIONS GALORE‖. Tickets will be on sale Thursday, February 10th at the Clubhouse for $10.00 each, both members and guests. We also hope to have ―The Jewelry Ladies‖ present with their jewelry and accessories.

LADIES, as another reminder…..be thinking of your nominations for a Board position or as chairperson of one of our committees. It would be a shame for our community to take the loss should we have to ―close our doors‖. Now, Ladies you know how you enjoy coming and meeting with your friends each month. Please take that ―one step‖ forward and do your fair share. Take part and help your ―sisters‖.

HOPE THE HOLIDAYS WERE GREAT, HEALTHY AND SAFE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

The theme at our JANUARY 10TH luncheon will be WESTERN. Gals, please plan to come and hear a wonderful choir entertain us. Don’t forget to dress in the western theme, if you wish. Tickets will be on sale at the Clubhouse the Thursday before our luncheon on January 6th. As usual, we will have door prize, 50/50 and raffle drawings.

ATTENTION LADIES….With the many vacancies next season on the Board and some of our committees, you need to think seriously of volunteering or nominating someone for a position on the Women’s Club Board or on the Kitchen, Decorating and/or other committees. If we do not get replacements, WE MAY NOT HAVE A CLUB NEXT SEASON. REMEMBER…. our Club is strictly for charities in our community.

NOW, COME AND JOIN US TO WORK TOWARD OUR MILLION DOLLAR GOAL AND HAVE SOME FUN WITH YOUR FRIENDS.

THANK YOU to everyone for all their support in November with the Spaghetti Dinner and the Bake Sale at the Craft Show. It is always a highlight with all the assistance from those who reach out to help with our giving goal.

Our CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION LUNCHEON is DECEMBER 14TH at NOON with pork roast, salad and dessert scheduled. A Great Christmas Trio will join us and entertain with some Holiday numbers. As usual, tickets will be on sale at the Clubhouse on the Wednesday and Thursday before the luncheon between 10:00 and Noon.

We are having a “food shower” for the “Safe House for Runaway Youths“. Would you all please bring at least THREE (3) goods, or anything they can cook, to our December luncheon. They also could use new white socks, underclothing or grey T-shirts. Our Club also plans to send a check with the collected items as a thank you for helping us with our Spaghetti Dinner. The Director, Counselors and the youth are always so appreciative of our assistance.

WELCOME BACK TO ALL THOSE LADIES WHO HAVE JUST RETURNED!!

We have started our Season with a potluck luncheon on October 11th, so we’re off to a great beginning. Thank you to all the ladies who brought a dish and to all those gals who came to the meeting.

November is going to be a busy month for us with our LUNCHEON on the 8th, the SPAGHETTI DINNER on Nov. 18th and our BAKE SALE at the CRAFT FAIR on Nov. 27, the Saturday after Turkey Day. As a reminder, tickets for our luncheon will be on sale at the Clubhouse on the Wed. and Thurs. before on our meeting, Nov. 3rd and 4th.

To reach our MILLION DOLLAR goal this year, please COME AND BRING A FRIEND so we may give lots at the end of the Season to our community charities and have fun doing so. SEE YOU ALL AT THE NOVEMBER LUNCHEON!!

WELCOME BACK, GALS!!!! Happy 2010-11 Season! Welcome to a new year of fun luncheons.

Our mission is to cultivate friendship, give to charities and to local organizations in our community where the need presents itself.

This will be our "MIllion DOllar" year. The Women’s Club, with all the wonderful help from our members, has been giving back to the community for over 30 years. As President, I have met the most selfless women who truly care for one another and the community.

Our first luncheon will be October 11th at Noon. We are planning a salad potluck, along with great entertainment, raffles and door prizes. Bring a salad and the admission fee is complimentary, or the donation at the door is $7.00.

Here’s the rest of our Seasonal Scheduling for the monthly luncheons:

November 8th, December 13th, 2010 and January 10th, February 14th, March 14th, April 11th, 2011.

Please place these dates on your calendars, so we can have fun together. Again, Ladies, welcome back!
